Types of locks for compression rings

Compressor and piston rings are manufactured from high temperature resistant high-strength plastics based composites, designed for operation under conditions of dry and boundary friction in compressors and hydropneumatic machine cylinders. The combination of low coefficient of sliding friction, high sealing properties and absence of adhesion to the counterbody surface, high strength, especially when using composite materials based on fluoroplastic, polyetheretherketone, polyphthalamide, polyoxymethylene, allowed to apply them in piston machines operating at high pressures without lubrication. The high chemical resistance of the applied materials during long-term operation under dry friction conditions allows avoiding undesirable side physical and chemical processes.

Material: Konstaftor 300, Konstaftor 1000, Konstaftor 1000P, F4К20, F4К15М5, flubon, graphitofluoroplastic (AFGM), AFG-80ВС, graphelone, polyamide.

We can offer composite material Konstaftor-C as an alternative to F-4, F4K15M5 and polyamide. It is a new polyphenylene sulphide-based composition with controlled hardness, high strength and reduced creep.
